The 10th movie will be released on August 4th, check out the trailer for The Swan Princess: A Royal Wedding for an exclusive preview!

Princess Odette embarks on another adventure with her friends as they work together to overcome an evil sorceress that threatens the power of true love!

Here at the castle, we love to build and play on obstacle courses. Do you remember the one Derek made in our third movie The Swan Princess: The Mystery of the Enchanted Treasure?

Or maybe you remember when JeanBob won the obstacle race on that exact course?

Set up your very own course and challenge your friends and family to see who will win the grand prize and become Prince (or Princess!) for a day!

Here are some ideas for different obstacles!

  • Hurry Hurdles- Use pool noodles and pencils or sticks stuck in the ground to create hurdles to jump over or make them into a tunnel to crawl under.

  • Hula Hoop Hopping - Lay rings out or hula hoops (you can even draw these on the ground or make circles out of string) and hop across by putting one foot in each hoop until you have hopped in every hoop!

  • Silly Spinning - Start the next section by blindfolding yourself and spinning around three times then take off the blindfold and try and walk in a straight line towards the next part.

  • Balance Beam - Draw a line in chalk along the ground and walk carefully along it. For an extra challenge, use a plank of wood at different heights using bricks underneath as you try and keep your balance and walk across.

  • Zig Zags - Use cones or poles and place them in a line and weave in and out as fast as you can! You can even set up another set of poles and kick a ball in and out of the spaces.

  • Speedy Skipping - At one stage of your obstacle course, put a jump rope on the course and when a person reaches it, they must skip for 10 jumps before moving on to the next challenge!

Can you think of any other obstacles? Send in your photos and videos or use #swanprincess and share your summer fun with us, you might even be featured on our social media!

Set up two identical courses and challenge your friends and family to see who completes the course first or time each person and see who can complete the obstacle course in the fastest time!

This month we will be announcing the latest fantasy pin design, be sure to follow Instagram and Facebook on July 18th to be the first to see the latest pin! What other designs would you like to see? Send in your ideas by using any of our social media platforms and commenting on our posts
