Have You Seen the New Swan Princess 11 Trailer?
Swan Princess 12 is On Its Way!
Princess Odette had a great time at the Utah Warriors Rugby game with the Mascot Miracles Foundation! The Mascot Miracles Foundation provides unique events and experiences for children with life threatening illnesses and severe special needs. Odette loves spending time with the hero children they serve!
This year at The Swan Princess we have been working hard to move all of our inventory into a brand new warehouse! Preparations for this have included organizing all of our art cels and pencil sketches for easier transport and storage. As we have been sorting through the incredible animation museum that is our warehouse, we have found some really incredible and unique pieces of Swan Princess history that were just too swanderful to not share with our amazing fans! Therefore, we would like to proudly present our new series:
Awesome Things We Found in the Warehouse Today!
We love following the creative process of the animators as they designed each of the iconic characters. This month we're following the design process of Bromley!
This is a storyboard image showing one of the earliest designs of Bromley. While his costume looks similar to his final design his hair and face are a completely different look.
This is another early storyboard design of Bromley. We like to call this Bromley's "pompadour hair".
These pencil sketches are getting closer and closer to the signature look of Bromley. He's been rounded out and his face shape mostly decided on, but he is trying out a fluffier hairstyle and a short sleeve shirt with buttons and no capelet.
which of these Bromley designs do you like best? Does he look better with his final hairstyle or should he have kept his pompadour haircut?
This month we are celebrating the birthday of the helpful and friendly Sculley. This makes his zodiac sign Taurus and his birthstone the emerald.
Taurus people are reliable and down-to-earth. They are very stubborn and love set patterns in life. They make loyal friends as they are wonderful at staying the course of life's ups and downs to be forever supportive of those they love.
Taurus love all things relationship, including familial relationships. Sculley is always there to help his adopted family (Odette and all of her friends). Even after he became a ghost he was there for them no matter what.
Taurus are loving and soothing to be around, this makes them great mentors and caregivers especially for young children, like Lucas and Alise.
They have very strong opinions and tend to stick to them. While this makes them passionate it can also make them seem unadventurous or close-minded.
The emerald symbolizes balance, growth, peace, and foresight. Sculley certainly showed great foresight in his study of the prophecy about Odette!
We think this sounds just like Sculley! Is your birthday in May or do you just love the color green?
We have been enthralled watching the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom. We at Swan Princess believe there is a royal inside all of us, and its even better to have a crown to show it off!
This pearly white colored foam princess crown was created to be part of a child's princess costume. but can fit smaller adult heads as well. It is decorated with an embossed swan-shaped design and 3 green, plastic jewels. An elastic string is attached for fitting around the head.
Question: Were any of the characters in the Swan Princess films inspired by celebrities or real life people?
Answer: This answer comes from Swan Princess Producer Seldon Young! In the upcoming film The Swan Princess A Fairytale is Born you will notice that Queen Uberta is affectionately called Bertie as a nickname. This is a special hidden Easter egg because Bertie is the name of Seldon's mother. He added the name to honor her!
As much as I have wanted to read my mother's diary, I have been too busy to find the time. June is closing in and, as the most popular season for weddings, Bridget and Chamberlain's wedding is fast approaching. I’ve decided that reading the diary will be my reward for a job well done planning the ceremony. Chamberlain has been very helpful with planning ideas. He has spent many years as the head event planner for everything Queen Uberta wanted to do. Because of his experience, he knows that he wants his wedding to be as stress free and simple as possible. No pageantry, no 12 layer cake, no large crowds. After all, Bridget doesn’t really know about royal etiquette, outside of the basics that I’ve taught her. She doesn't want something fancy, just a celebration of two people later in life finding and being in love. Honestly, I think that’s very sweet. Simple and elegant is going to be the theme, and I’m excited to get to it!
